About Heartland Long Term Acute Care Hospital
Heartland Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) offers a small, personalized environment that offers a vast array of resources for patients who are medically complex and stable and who require an extended hospital stay. We address the needs of a small, but growing, patient population who cannot be effectively treated in a conventional health–care setting.
Location and accommodations
We offer the resources of a large hospital with the personalized care of a small facility. Located on the 2nd Floor at Heartland Regional Medical Center, a Level II trauma center in St. Joseph, Missouri, Heartland LTACH is a “hospital within a hospital.” Heartland LTACH features 41 private patient rooms with large doors and amenities for families.
